The School of Athens is an amphitheatre-style outdoor classroom created to enrich the learning environment. The project originated from the winning student idea competition “Cool Break Time”.
With seating for nearly 100 people, the amphitheatre provides a versatile space for lessons, theatre performances, musical activities, and choir rehearsals. The original concept was created by student Hans Hubert Sams, further developed by architect Emil Urbel, and built by NOBE.
